Toraja in Combination with Togian Island | 12 Days / 11 Nights
Day 01
Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar. Set out on the picturesque drive to Toraja. Lunch at a seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare, precedes a scenic drive with many photo-stops en route. In the afternoon stop on the Puncak Lakawan to see spectacular view. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 02
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day excursion in Toraja, in the morning we will visit Lemo, where we will find rows of Tau-tau and the hanging graves. Londa has an ancient natural grave where the deceased are entombed with big ceremonies. Kete-Kesu is a traditional Torajan village, where we can see the Tongkonan and the old rice-barns and it is famous for its woodcarving. Lunch is served in Rantepao. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 03
After breakfast, depart for Pendolo, a scenic drive to Palopo ; a small Moslem port and the capital of the Luwu regency. A picnic lunch en route at the irrigation project in Batu Citundac. If we are lucky we will see the processing of sago in Masamba district. Arrival late in the afternoon in Pendolo, a small village on the south shore of Lake Poso. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 04
After breakfast cross by boat to Tentena, a trip of about 3 hours. Poso is a deep freshwater lake with white sandy beaches rising to high, densely forested mountains with white sandy beaches. This is one of the most beautiful and clearest lakes in the world. Lunch in Tentena. After lunch free program. Dinner and overnight in Cottage.
Day 05
After breakfast, we visit a waterfall with twelve steps known as Wera Salopa in Tonusu and take a walk through a Balinese Transmigration village. Lunch en route. In the afternoon will be at leisure. Take a walk or just relax beside the lake. Dinner and overnight in Cottage.
Day 06
After breakfast, we depart to Ampana, on the way visiting the Sulewana Waterfall. Lasting for an entire kilometre, this is one of the most exiting waterfalls in Asia. Lunch en route.On the way to ampana we will passing through picturesque villages, white sandy beaches and coconut plantations. In the afternoon arrival in Ampana. Dinner and overnight at Cottages.
Day 07
After breakfast, we cruise by local motorized boat or Local Ferry to Togian Island. Late in the afternoon arrival at the Togian Island. Dinner and overnight at Island Retreat Bomba.
Day 08
After breakfast, a full day exploring some small islands. Today we will also visit an a Bajau village. A picnic lunch on boat, afternoon back to Bomba. Dinner and overnight at Island Retreat Bomba
Day 09
After breakfast, half day jungle trekking, including a visit Bajau villages, lunch / dinner and overnight at Island Retreat Bomba.
Day 10
After breakfast, free program, snorking possible on front of the resort, lunch / dinner and overnight at Island Retreat Bomba.
Day 11
After breakfast, transfer back by motorized boat or local Ferry to Ampana. Then continue the journey to Palu. Lunch en route. Afternoon arrive in Palu. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.
Day 12
After breakfast, in the morning we will have a short city tour in Palu. Afterwards transfer to the airport for your flight to to your next destination.
